History of the Globe is a board game designed by Gary Dicken and Steve Kendall, originally published in 1991 in the microscopic-click edition (sustaining a tea-towel board) by Ragnar Brothers and later republished by Gibson Games and by Avalon Hill. Around 1994, History of a World won the Origins Award for Best Pre-20th Century Boardgame of 1993. Avalon Hill was purchased by Hasbro in the early 2000's and History of the Globe was rereleased as a large pack game by using hundreds of plastic pieces.
A game is played within 7 cycles called epochs. Within both epoch, players play different empires; at a prevent of the epoch, the empires fall & players score points. Fresh empires so rise for a next epoch, although the remains of the last empires continue the board & score points for when hanker when it remain unvanquished. Beneath we may buy a date range of the epochs and the link to the Wikipedithe article just about a particular empire.
